Merilee's Bountiful family

I think I had more pictures but it would only print so many....also it wouldn't let me write about the first pictures...no room..We had a wonderful time, all the kids and their spouses and kids were able to make it home for Christmas. We had a full house...21 people for 11 nights...We celebrated Merilee's graduation, had a party for Grandma Anderson on the 23rd with the annual $2.00 gift exchange, still miss her but we will always celebrate her birthday...Christmas Eve was a blast with gingerbread houses, making cookies for Santa, Spencer and Nikki's Hot Chocolate stirrers out of chocolate, peppermint covered marshmallows...yum...Dinner and the Christmas pageant with Ansley as Mary because Kaydree wanted to be an angel...Kelan was Joseph and we had some Wise men and many Angels with Merilee shinning our everyone as the star of the show...

The next day, Christmas day....We of course got to see what Santa brought, then hurriedly got ready for church and Ledger Justin Bunnell's blessing by his father TJ...what a special thing to do on Christmas Day...

We had lots of fun, we did some activities, The kids all took turns with meals we ate out a few times and made lots of great memories....Love to you all...

Robert and I were in Omaha again for dental appointments, Robert 19-1/2 hours in the chair Robyn 4 hours... We also had a ton of fun in Omaha....while there Nikki won the lottery for orcastra tickets for Wicked and we finally got to see it....yah, it was a great time once again. 3 more weeks and we'll be back in Omaha for the family reunion....

April 2011, Robert and I had dentist appointments with our new Dentist, while we were there we got the opportunity to see three grandsons, our daughter, daughter in-law and son...
You can't go to Omaha without visiting the Omaha gardens, it was so much fun and the weather was really nice then we heard.....bang, bang, bang, sounded like firecrackers.. we soon found out that the police had tried to serve a warrant to a resident who lived near by and he pulled a gun and was shot and killed....Wow Lot's of drama, cut our visit to the garden's a little bit short.

This is the only picture I took in Jacksonville, Illinois, this is picture of Cohen playing in TJ's aunt and uncle's basement. After Wisconsin we traveled about a hour and a half to Jacksonville to babysit while the aunt and uncle were traveling. I went along on the adventure and wish I had taken more pictures. The children were wonderful and we had a fun time.

Ansley, TJ, and Cohen came to visit and while they were here we went to the Idaho Falls Zoo. There was this cute nest and this is probably an appropriate time to say Ansley is on the nest due 11/01/11. We are so excited grandbaby #10

Robert's birthday present from the kids was two tickets to the last home game for the 2011 season for BYU....they played Wyoming. The first half was really close but after a few minutes in the second half BYU got a ten point lead and stayed there the rest of the game. Yes this is Jimmer shooting a foul shot, he had 38 points.

She will be the area director next semester earning a full tutition scholarship for one semester, it would have been two but she had too many credits....but 1 is better that nothing...This is Stephanie Anderson, Merilee Cousin....she was a lot of help....

THIS WEEKEND SEPT 23-25, WE WERE ABLE TO HANG OUT IN SUN VALLEY IDAHO WITH THE WESTMARK BOARD....EVERY FOUR YEARS WE GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT SUN VALLEY....I LOVE SUN VALLEY, PROBABLY BECAUSE IT IS IN IDAHO...BUT IT ALSO HAS A LOT OF HISTORY...NOT THE BEST SERVICE AND THEY DON'T WORK WITH THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY AS WELL AS THE OTHER RESORTS WE VISIT. BUT I DO LOVE SUN VALLEY.....LOVE THIS POOL...ROBERT AND I TOOK A SWIM LAST NIGHT. THE POOL STAYS OPEN YEAR ROUND, THEY KEEP IT AT 90 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER AND 100 DEGREES IN THE WINTER...SO MUCH FUN

EVERY TIME I VISIT, I WATCH THE MOVIE...

This was such a fun trip...sad thing though Spencer, Nikki, Kelan and Beckham were coming but their flight got canceled because of Huricane Earl, which we never even saw a rainstorm in New Jersey....it was a direct flight from Omaha....we were very sad. Also sad that Ryan and family also couldn't make it....

After the second week of January, Robyn found herself unemployed so decided she needed to meet the new grandson in Omaha, after all they don't look like a new born baby very long...so off she flew to Omaha.

TJ, Ansley and Cohen would be there the same time doing an interview with Creighton so she got to see all of them, then drive back to St. Louis for shopping and Ansley's birthday..... We all had a great time, thanks to all who cooked in Omaha, it was so fun....Robyn loves being with her kids and now that they are so spread out it gives her opportunities to travel to see them. She is still afraid of the airports by herself but is getting better with it and more confidant.....

We had such a wonderful time in St. Louis, a big thank you to Ansley and TJ, for letting us stay at TJ's grandparents home. It was a blast. Dale and Shirlene Bunnell (TJ's grandparents) are serving a mission in the Philippines and TJ and Ansley are living in their home. We so appreciate it that we were able to all stay there for the Christmas Holiday. It is a warm, wonderful home....and we were all very comfortable. Thank you to Dale and Shirlene also......

With seven small children we mostly stayed home but ventured out a few times. Of course when we got there, shopping was the big adventure since baggage is such a big expense when you are flying...We did go out to dinner on Christmas Eve but never made it to the traditional Christmas Eve movie. After Ryan and his family made it to St. Louis, the Sunday morning after Christmas, (after driving all night) We visited the St. Louis Arch and Museum, on Monday and the Magic House on Tuesday...A big Thank You to Spencer and Nikki for helping out with the cost of food and everyone else for the meals they bought and prepared....

It all worked out so well, everyone worked together and got along and Carver never stood still, if all the pictures of him look like he is moving it is because he is always moving....He is a bundle of energy....

In October 2009, Robert had a very scary thing happen....He had a stroke, he didn't tell me about it for 3 days...he was hoping things would just get better...When they didn't he finally told me and we went to the ER at EIMC...he ended up staying for 4 full days....They ran a lot of tests and found a hole in his heart probably there from birth...They repaired it on Thursday and he went home on Thursday night then took a trip with us to Walmart that night, he was really bored to want to go to Walmart....I am so grateful that he is Okay, he still has a few problems with things at work and is frustrated that he can't do things as fast as he used to but he is much smarter than I am (and almost everyone else) We are grateful that he is still with us and hope he will be for a very long time. Thank you everyone for your prayers and concern....

Grandpa's best little buddy, Kelan likes Grandpa better than anyone else, last time they were together Kelan cried because he wanted to go to Papa's house not back to Nebraska with his parents... Papa got close to Kelan when they lived with us last school year... They went on many walks and anything that Kelan wanted to do Papa would do.

Cute Family , Ansley had a great labor and deliverary, can you believe it. No pain from contractions, just a lot of pressure when the time came. Merilee, Mirae and I had a wonderful time taking part in this whole birth process. Oh and of course TJ was there. Cohen came into the world all bright eyed and innocent. with rock-star cute hair. When he was crowning I said he would be a cute baby, look at all that hair. Oh he has brown hair with gold tips. It's really cute. He also has small features and has a wonderful disposition. He hardly cries but I'm sure he will. He is a darling in the opinion of this grandmother....

Ansley and TJ Bunnell graduates of BYU-Idaho Ansley-Accounting TJ-Business and has taken the DAT test and will hopefully enter Dental School next year....Yay, way to go kids.....Baby due August 29th....
Oh good, this one is a little better in focus than the next picture....We are very proud of our fourth couple who have graduated from BYU-I.....Way to go Anz and Teege.....I know at least I didn't say Teegie...right.....We love our red headed step son....

Open eyes, I can't believe that we have twins again. We are so fortunate. They are so beautiful and healthy we are very blessed as a family...These girls are Ryan and Carrie's babies. Our oldest son who lives in Dallas, TX. These pictures are on their blog but I wasn't sure if you that visit my blog jump to Carrie's blog. Anyway, this way I get to look at them every time I open up my blog. They are just breathtakingly beautiful as far as this grandma is concerned. I can't wait to meet them in August.

We got to drive and ride in convertibles, ours was a Red Mustang. This is Rich and Jackie. Westmark's CEO and his wife. The temperature was 85 while it was 23 below zero back home in Idaho, Sorry we missed it....Not....

Ansley and TJ's townhome in Rexburg is where we were for Christmas this year. It was fun they were wonderful at being Host and Hostess . Unfortunately TJ had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and the Day after Christmas and Black Friday. He misses a lot of Holidays. But we love that he is such a hard worker. We Love TJ, He is the best, He is a wonderful Son in Law.... Thanks TJ and Anz for such a fun time. You are fabulous children...

Merilee with her new high school Musical Doll, Okay she is a almost a junior in college but Mom couldn't resist and Merilee played along with it quite well.....Merilee recently received a schlorship for getting good grades..... We are proud of her and she also works part time.

Robyn with her new scrapbook toy "The Cricut" Fun.... I haven't had time to play with it since Christmas but I'm getting closer to having some more scrapbook time.

This was a beautiful beach at Cabo San Lucas. The water was so blue and clean. Robyn was guarding her camera because there were so many people pedaling their wares. That was annoying...

the Mexican Riviera. November 30-December 7, great company, good food, fun,relaxation, exercise, lots of sleep and down time. It was a wonderful time Cruising along. Did I mention the food. And the service was tremendous...

Stephen graduated December 19, 2008
from Boise State with his Masters Degree in Accounting, he has also passed three of his CPA examines, one more to go. He reported for work on Monday Jan 5, in New York City with Price Water house Coopers. Afton and he moved into their apartment today Jan 10Th in Jersey City. Their baby Brooks Robert is due to be born Feb 14Th. So its back to New York City for the Grandparents in March, we're excited.....

Nikki's Graduation from BYU-Idaho with her degree in Health Education Dec 12, 2008. We're very proud of Nikki for sticking with it and getting her degree. Kelan was Happy too....

Today several of the fam got together in Salt Lake and had Thanksgiving Dinner with Robyn's brother Jonny, thanks to Marie Calenders. We had a wonderful dinner but were missing some family members. Some of us are not going to bed tonight but starting the black friday experience at Midnight tonight in Park City. Sounds fun? Robyn is babysitting but the baby and her will go shopping at 4:30 am, not quite midnight. She's too old for the midnight thing. But the cricut is on sale at Walmart and it's a good deal, can't miss a good deal. The big news is that Robert and Robyn are leaving on Saturday for the drive to LA then boarding the ship to the Mexican Riviera. A Family Reunion Cruise. Arvella and John, Neils and Susan, Delia and Alesha, Mark and MaryAnne and of course Robert and Robyn. So We will take lots of pictures and there will be updates soon. Sorry we didn't take pictures of Thansgiving the real one, but We have some more cute pictures from the last Thanksgiving....

`Happy Thanksgiving We had a somewhat surprise visit from Ryan and Family and had a pre-thanksgiving dinner 2 weeks before thanksgiving. Ryan, Carrie, Kaydree and Carrie were in Provo, Ryan had a business client he was auditing. We were happy to see them. We had a surprise party for Afton and baby Brooks and then Thanksgiving on Sunday...Photo shoot after church. But the BIG NEWs was when Ryan and family got to our house they had us all stand around in a circle and look into a box. The box contained a ultra-sound picture of not just one new grandbaby, but Twins....On thursday we may know what they are...More news later.

The Spencer Andersons are enjoying California life, and Kelan is loving all his boy cousins. Spencer is selling insecticide and Nikki is doing an internship.

We are looking forward to the Spencer Anderson's coming back to Idaho. Spencer will be starting school at ISU, the middle of August and Nikki will be going back to BYU I in September. They will be living in our basement and commuting to either Pocatello or Rexburg. We're excited to have them here.

It was quite an honor for Ryan to be invited back to Rexburg to be a part of the business summit.

Ryan works for PWC in Dallas. He came to Rexburg to help with a summit. Ryan and Carrie's second child was born in January 2008, his name is Carver James Anderson. Their daughter is Kaydree Nicole Anderson.

She will be three in September. Carrie is a stay at home mom and does a great job with the kids. Kaydree is not only beautiful but a genius. Carrie also does a fabulous job decorating their home.

We have learned to copy pictures off of others blogs and E-mail. I wouldn't say we are computer literate but we're doing better. One of Robyn's favorite hobbies is scrapbooking. She has recently finished Spencer's mission scrapbook (at least until he comes back to help her finish all the way) and just completed Kelan's first birthday (picture shown) Next I hope to work on Ryan's graduation from Ohio State, from two years ago. She will never catch up but having her own computer has made it a little easier to store pictures. Blogging has added a new dimension to the scrapbook mania...

time in

Hawaii,

Robert had a few hours

making the trip possible.

It was sure

fun to get

out of the

snow. The new camera Robyn got for Christmas really came in handy. We are so grateful for Robert's boss Rich for letting us tag along. You can't believe how beautiful it is. We also saw Hawaii's desert and a place that reminded us of the Crater's of the Moon in Idaho. Of course it was a crater.

This is the oldest banyan tree known, planted during the civil war. It takes up the whole park that it is in. We feel very fortunate to have traveled to such a fun, and amazing place. Hawaii is almost Heaven on earth.
