Lihue, Kauai 2011

sorry this is not a very great picture but shortly after this picture was take Chuck suffered a heart attack and was flown to Honolulu for heart surgery...he is doing great now but this is the only picture I have of him and Kathy Jo isn't even in it....

Napali Coastline.....from the back, I wish I'd had my camera during the whale watching tour, the Coastline from the front was a beautiful sight... Coastline with ocean in the background..

Chickens and Roosters were everywhere on the Island...in the 90's they had Cock fights and then they were outlawed and penned but then there was a Hurricane and they all got away. Now they are just loose....everywhere.

We were KNOWN.....after Dane did this Dance....He was great and if you were from Idaho, you were cool....because of Dane...the MC or whatever you would call her, called him "Great Dane" he made it really a fun Luau....

The Roosters at the plantations were so colorful and beautiful....I love Roosters now...





The Plantation, everything we ate was grown on the plantation, it was wonderful and in the big house there were Hawaiian crafts and jewelry to buy...

This sweet Bird was next to the colorful Fish, he was put away every night in his cage somewhere but you could see him every morning...
